Learning outcomes

This course focuses on the development of speaking skills. Students practice accuracy in using appropriate lexical and grammatical structures; appropriateness of expression in regards to context, purpose and intention, practical usage of various linguistic means, and flexibility in interaction. Students will also learn how to employ theoretical knowledge about spoken English and pronunciation in their own verbal expressions. In association with Language in Use, this course contributes to development of students' communicative competence, with focus on communication in class within ELT.
