Course content
Lesson planning. Teaching language subskills (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar). Teaching language skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing). Essential teaching skills. Organization of teaching/learning processes. Classroom management. Developing activity and creativity in pupils. Developing learner autonomy. Self-reflection.

Learning outcomes
The subject is integrated with OBD2 and LDI2. Teaching practice II builds on Teaching practice I (learning to observe, virtual school) and also prepares students for their own teaching in the subsequent term. The aim of Teaching Practice II is to enable trainee teachers to gain experience with teaching English through their participation in microteaching. The content of microteaching is specified by the syllabi of LDI2 and OBD2 courses, microteaching is conceived as an integrateing element of the didactic bloc.
The professional competence of the student is developed by means of structured observation and analysis of specific aspects of teaching and learning English language.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Discussion, Student portfolio analysis

Active participation in seminars (max.2 missed classes) and submission of the required materials: plans of microteaching performances, evaluation forms, annotations of required readings as specified during the course, list of literature. Format: interview based on the submitted materials
