Course content
Spectrophotometric analysis of multicomponent samples. Automatic potentiometric titration of sample pretreated using ion-exchanger. Polarography/voltammetry - qualitative and quantitative analysis of metal ions. Molecular fluorescence analysis. Photometric microtitration. Alkalimetric titration with potentiometric and conductometric indication. Nephelometry. Coulometric titration with biamperometric indication. Spectrophotometric determination of nickel after extraction. Polarimetry. Flame photometry and atomic absorption spectrometry. Direct potentiometry with fluoride ion-selective electrode. Determination of chlorine in organic compound. Thin layer chromatography. Liquid chromatography - determination of phthalates in spirits.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get basic experiences and practice the work with instrumental analytical methods.
Students after graduation of the subject "Analytical chemistry II lab. course" together with the subject C624 "Analytical chemistry II" are competent to execute the simpler procedures in analytical laboratories equipped with the basic accessories

Written examination, Student performance assessment

Current check of study - written test, oral checking Student preparation, results of analyses, protocol - 70 % of grade Final examination (written and oral) - 30 %
