Course content
Getting to know the basics of measurement methods Practical training of selected measurement methods Spectrophotometric analysis of multicomponent samples. Automatic potentiometric titration of sample pretreated using ion-exchanger. Polarography/voltammetry - qualitative and quantitative analysis of metal ions. Molecular fluorescence analysis. Photometric microtitration. Alkalimetric titration with potentiometric and conductometric indication. Nephelometry. Coulometric titration with biamperometric indication. Polarimetry. Flame photometry and atomic absorption spectrometry. Direct potentiometry with fluoride ion-selective electrode. Determination of chlorine in organic compound. Liquid chromatography - determination of phthalates in spirits.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to extend knowledge of classical analytical methods with basic knowledge about instrumental analytical methods.
Students after graduation of the subject "Analytical chemistry II lab. course" together with the subject "Analytical chemistry II" are competent to execute the simpler procedures in analytical laboratories equipped with the basic accessories

Written examination, Student performance assessment

Current check of study - written test, oral checking Student preparation, results of analyses, protocol - 70 % of grade Final examination (written and oral) - 30 %
