Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Laboratory work
  • Contact teaching - 52 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
  • Term paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the principles of measuring technological quantities, principles of sensors used in industrial and laboratory practice, modern sensors but also with basic concepts related to measurement and metrology, concepts such as measurement uncertainty, basic sensor parameters, static dynamic characteristics, signal processing.
Students should acquire knowledge of measurement of basic technological quantity and practical skills.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of electronic circuits theory.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

During the semester and in the final exam, the student must demonstrate an understanding of the solved problems. The specific requirements will be communicated to the students by the teacher in the first week of the semester. Active participation in exercises is required.
