Learning activities and teaching methods
unspecified, Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities, Skills training
  • Contact teaching - 39 hours per semester
  • Preparation for a credit (assessment) - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 21 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim is to introduce students to the theoretical and practical basics of design using EPLAN software.
In the course, the student will gain theoretical and practical foundations of design in automation and electrical engineering using EPLAN software and PCB design software. Based on this knowledge, he will be able to independently solve basic design problems. He will be familiar with diagrams, standards and symbols. He will be able to create his own project, device block, own article, functional macro, generate reports and evaluations.
Prerequisites
Basic computer literacy and orientation in the basics of electrical engineering.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Self project defence

During the semester, the student must prove that he understood the discussed issue. Specific requirements will be communicated to students by the teacher in the first week of the semester. Active participation in seminars is required, including completing all assigned tasks and submitting a semester paper.
