Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Demonstration, Laboratory work
  • Contact teaching - 52 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 26 hours per semester
  • Term paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for laboratory work and processing of results - 33 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the problems of industrial control systems - measuring devices, actuators, industrial controllers, industrial computers, fieldbuses and measuring cards. Part of the course is devoted to logic control, hardware and programming PLC and SCADA / HMI systems.
After completing the course, the student demonstrates knowledge of industrial control systems - knows basic sensors for measurement of non-electrical quantities, drives and controllers, control systems, fieldbuses and visualization SW and is able to design and apply control system using computer, industrial controller or PLC.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of technical subjects.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation, Discussion

Student must obtain credit and pass an oral exam.
