Learning activities and teaching methods
Demonstration, Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to complex familiarize the students with methods of synthesis and characterization of inorganic pigments, fertilizers and utilization of calorimetric methods for studying of material properties.
Passing the subject brings to students the ability to independently solve the theme of semestral work. They are competent to decide about choice of method appropriate for obtaining of information about studied materials. They are also able to elaborate the bibliographic search of given theme. The students are able to preset adjusted results at the professional level.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of course: Laboratory of synthesis and characterization of materials.
KANT/C070

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

The way of passing the subject is by form of classified credit. Students solve the chosen theme of semestral work and obtained results present in public lecture. The resultant classification takes into account appraisal of an individual performance by supervisor, the quality of text processing and presentation of results of semestral work in the lecture.
