Course content
The subject is specifically devoted to basic sources of raw materials for inorganic production. In addition to the manufacturing process itself, the principle of the industry solutions used will be clarified. Limitations of key reactions by thermodynamic equilibrium and reaction kinetics will be discussed. Attention will be paid to the production of mineral acids, bases, fertilizers in the context of emission control technologies. The content of the course is also inorganic pigments and modern trends with regard to the presence of lanthanides in the composition of pigments and connection with optical properties especially for near infrared radiation. The subject presents advanced manufacturing techniques based on the best available techniques (BAT) used in the EU and published in Reference Documents (BREFs).

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
Students will get acquainted with modern production methods, which are based on the best advanced manufacturing techniques based on the best available techniques (BAT) used in the EU and published in Reference Documents (BREFs).
Students receive information about production processes in inorganic technology, products and their use.
Prerequisites
unspecified

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Self project defence
