Course content

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, First Aid (video), Cardiovascular system - The basics of physical examination of the heart, blood pressure, heart rate, fitness test, Recording and analysis of ECG, Regulation of blood pressure in the rabbit (video), Sperm morphology, Practical training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Spirometric lung test, Physical examination of the lungs, The dilution experiment, Creatinine clearance, Urinary sediment, Hormonal regulation of blood glucose, diabetes mellitus, glycemic curve, Bilirubin in the differential diagnosis of icterus, Assessment of the nutritional status and assessment of body weight.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of laboratory practise is improvement of theoretical knowledge obtained during lectures.
Student is ready for study of clinical subjects - clinical biochemistry and immunology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment
Final classification of the subject depends on the written examination (4 tests, per 10 pts. = total 40 points), presentation (maximally 15 points), final test (max. 60 point) and on the preparation of work-protocols and study of the topic (25 points). Minimal count of points is 80 of 140.
