Learning activities and teaching methods
Laboratory work
Learning outcomes
The main aim of this subject is to comprehend basic terms in genetics, inform about structure and function of nucleic acids and proteins. The main attention is paid to human genetics but also to genetic of bacteria and viruses. The others subjects are mutations and their types, sexual and asexual reproduction, cytogenetic and the most common genetic diseases in human population.
Students govern basic cytodiagnostic imaging techniques and basic methods used in molecular biology laboratories
Prerequisites
unspecified

Assessment methods and criteria
Home assignment evaluation

Credit is granted after all laboratory tasks, the development of appropriate protocols.
