The Microbiology and epidemiology section is focused on individual groups, genera and species of microorganisms important in the field of human and veterinary microbiology including their laboratory diagnostics, which is practised in laboratories. Adequate attention is paid to antibacterial agents and mechanisms of their action including the methods for determination of susceptibility.
Students become acquainted various etiological agents - their characteristics, cultivation and identification including susceptibility to antibiotics. |
