Lesson One: Verb etre, negative, question formation Lesson Two: Verbs of the 1st class, article, expression of case relations Lesson Three: Feminine gender of nouns and adjectives, plural, verb avoir Lesson Four: Verb aller, contracted article with the preposition de a a, numbers 1-20 Lesson 5: Possessive pronouns non-independent, word order, verbs pouvoir and connaître Lesson 6: Revision Lesson 7: Near future, independent personal pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, verb savoir Lesson 8: Il y a, adjectives beau, nouveau, vieux, verbs comprendre and vouloir Lesson 9: Expression of purpose, expression of quantity, verbs devoir and venir Lesson 10: 3rd verb class, expression of command and request, passé composé Lesson 11: Irregularity of some verbs of the 1st class, reflexive verbs, infinitive phrases, indefinite subject on, expression of negative and limitation, verb faire Lesson 12: Revision Lesson 13: Expression of direct object by means of pronoun, Future Simple, prepositional phrases, verbs dire and ouvrir Lesson 14: Personal pronouns, dative case, relative pronouns, verbs voir and écrire Conversation topics: Family, Family Relations Education, Foreign Languages Travelling I Leisure Time, Sports I

Learning outcomes
There are developed productive and receptive language skills acquired at secondary schools. During the term, students will familiarise themselves with different aspects of life in France and Francophone areas.
After passing this subject, student is able to communicate in ordinary life situations, also manages basic phraseology and is able to use learnt grammar in practice.

Oral examination, Written examination

Active participation in seminars, attendance min 75%. Written test at the end of the term.
