Course content
Legislative framework in the field of traffic safety (EU, CR) Factors affecting safety in transport (in general, focusing on road transport) Terms: car accident and related aspects Safety features of transport (active and passive safety) The various elements involved in traffic and their interaction (people, vehicles, surrounding environment) Forensic engineering; discipline dealing with the assessment of traffic accidents Physics (dynamics, kinematics and physical laws) the motion of bodies (vehicles) Processes and procedures in the removal and investigation of traffic accidents Introduction to technical analysis of traffic accidents The software used in the analysis of traffic accidents The behavior of the participants encountered in transport Prospects for development of transport in terms of its security in a comprehensive approach to impact

Learning outcomes
Inform the students about problematic of transport safety and security; expand their knowledge and general knowledge on the problematic.
After completion of the "Transport Safety" subject student should have knowledge about interpretation of accident, including aspects related to traffic safety. Should also be extended a knowledge regarding the mechanics of accident mechanism, needed for solving of accidents, and knowledge regarding methods used in the analysis of traffic accidents.
Prerequisites
Students interested in the subject should have adequate knowledge of physics necessary for understanding the unloaded topics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

The student must prove during the term and also by the exam, that he/she observes and understands current Transport Safety and Security problems. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
