Course content
Market - its basic elements (supply and demand); function of market. Consumer behavior and demand formation; utility and consumer optimum. Firm behavior and supply formation; produce function; production in short and long period. Cash flow in perfect and imperfect competition; profit and balance of firm; point of enclosure firm; break point. Perfect competition; market balance. Imperfect competition; parameter of market structures. Factor market; domestic product, national product, national income. Aggregate supply and demand. Money and banking system; money market . Inflation; causes and types. Unemployment. Monetary policy and Fiscal policy. International trade.

Learning outcomes
To make students acquainted with the basic concepts from areas of microeconomics and macroeconomics theory. The students will get acknowledged with functioning of real economy. They will obtain general overview of basic macroeconomics issues and learn to understand the behavior of individual market subjects (especially consumers and companies) in condition of perfect and imperfect competition.
After the passing this subject the student knows about basic concept of macroeconomics and microeconomics a he gets fundamental summary of economics.
Prerequisites
It's expected good knowledge of the high school math.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

The student has to prove understanding of the basic concepts of microeconomics and macroeconomics and ability to do the independently calculations in range of this subject during the term and within final exam. The tutor communicates to students the particular specifications during the first week of the term.
