Course content
Forwarding business - its meaning and fundamental terms. Forwarder - his sphere of action and quality of his services. Legal regulation of intranational and international forwarding business. Contract of forwarding. General Conditions of Freight Forwarding and Code of Conduct for Czech Forwarders. INCOTERMS 2010. Strategy of forwarding firm and price policy. IS in transport and forwarding business. Marketing and forwarding business.

Learning outcomes
To make students acquainted with the problems of forwarding business in compliance with requirement FIATA and Association of Forwarding and Logistics of the Czech Republic.
After the passing this subject the student will have premises to work in forwarding company or transporting firm.
Prerequisites
The tutorial is independent of others subjects.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

The student has to understand solving problems in forwarding business during the term and the final exam, first of all calculation awards behind transportation, business activity of forwarder and he learns to apply piece of knowledge to his possible final work. The tutor communicates to students the particular specifications during the first week of the term.
