1. Basic concepts related to economics. 2. Market equilibrium, supply, demand, its formation, connections and regularities. 3. Consumer behavior and decisions. 4. Behavior of the company in the economic environment. 5. Costs, revenues and profit of the transport company. 6. The company in conditions of perfect competition. 7. The company in real conditions on the market of transport services. 8. Market, market failure and state functions. 9. Development and perception of economic thinking and management. 10. Aggregate demand and aggregate supply. 11. Consumption, savings and investments. 12. Inflation and unemployment 13. Money, banking. Economic cycle and economic growth.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of market economy. These are both elements of the functioning of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles.
After completing the course, the student understands the basic economic concepts and is able to explain and interpret both basic macroeconomic issues and economic principles of production and consumption.

Mastering high school mathematics is assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation
During the semester and in the final exam, the student must demonstrate an understanding of the solved problems in the field of microeconomics and macroeconomics and be able to independently perform calculations in the scope of the studied subject. The specific requirements will be communicated to the students by the teacher in the first week of the semester.
