Course content
1. Introduction to financial and insurance operations 2. Deposit operations 3. Financial operations used in the context of the treatment of deposits 4. bills of exchange and other short-term securities 5. Financial operations used in the disposal of short-term securities 6. Debt financing 7. financial operations used in the context of lending 8. Alternative forms of financing 9. financing operations used in the context of forfaiting, factoring and leasing 10. Insurance of means of transport 11. Financial operations used in the framework of insurance of means of transport 12. Business transport insurance 13. Financial operations used in the framework of business transport insurance

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic procedures used in financial and insurance operations. To teach them to apply these procedures to specific examples from financial practice based on exact mathematical relations.
The student will be acquainted with the issues of financial and insurance operations and with basic mathematical calculations related to the issues.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of mathematical operations is assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

During the semester and in the final evaluation, the student must demonstrate an understanding of the problems taught and solved. The specific requirements will be communicated to the students by the teacher in the first week of the semester and the requirements will be published in the study materials in the STAG system.
