General theory and praxis of management. Fundamental function of management - planning, organisation. Fundamental function of management - leadership of people, control. Development of postal services sector in European countries. Development and characteristics of postal services sector of the Czech Republic. Basics principles of Czech postal services sector regulation. Liberalization of the postal services sector in EU countries. Liberalization of the Czech postal services sector. Company management providing postal services. Specific aspects of management holder postal licence. Specifics of holder postal licence in organisation process. Specifics of holder postal licence in setting price policy. Specifics of holder postal licence in Strategy setting. Future Trends in the postal services market.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of subject Management in Postal Services is inform the students with specifications of management in postal services.
After graduation this subject the student is oriented in fundamental manager concepts. The student knows fundamental theory of management, can define and application fundamental manager functions in sector of postal services, can define specification of management in sector of postal services, can principles of regulation this sector, orients in procedure of liberalization in sector of postal services, can indentify key players on the market of postal services and their manger strategies.

It supposed absolving subject "Basic of Management", and basic knowledge from section general management.

The student must in course of semester and by final exam demonstrate understanding of solution problems and ability self or in team of students solution request case studies. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
