Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic principles of academic writing. The course is divided into two main thematic units. The first thematic block focuses on introducing students to fundamental concepts related to access to information, which are relevant in today's digital society. The second thematic block familiarizes students with the basic principles of writing a bachelor's thesis, in accordance with the standards of the respective department where the thesis will be developed. The course is designed to provide a practical guide for planning and creating an academic text, as well as a hands-on guide for writing a bachelor's thesis.
The student is familiar with the basic principles of academic writing and understands the specifics of information access in the digital society. They are able to design the structure of an academic text and apply fundamental rules for writing a bachelor's thesis in accordance with the requirements of the respective department. The student is capable of independently preparing an academic text from initial proposal to final realization.
