Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to learn the principles of regulation of the communications sector, i.e. electronic communications and postal services, respecting all the specifics of this sector.
After completing the course, the student knows the general principles and definitions in the field of regulation of network industries, is oriented in the legal framework of the transport sector, postal services and electronic communications, can work with the concepts of universal service in postal services and electronic communications, and with the concept of service in the public interest in the transport sector, can define regulatory authorities in the transport sector, postal services and electronic communications, knows the principles of international cooperation, access to infrastructure and pricing in these areas.

Basic knowledge of economics and management is assumed.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
During the semester and in the final exam, the student must demonstrate an understanding of the problems solved and the ability to solve the assigned case studies independently or in a team of students. Specific requirements will be communicated to students by the instructor in the first week of the semester.
