The course is divided into main parts: 1. General section - Environmental aspects of sustainable mobility 2. Application section: a. General section - Economic aspects of sustainable mobility 4. Application section: a. Intermodal transport b. Logistics centres c. Interoperability in transport in relation to CBTC 5. General section - Social aspects of sustainable mobility 6. Application section: a. Public service in transport b. Modern public transport systems c. Accessibility of transport for PRM 7. General section - Institutional aspects of sustainable mobility 8. Application section: a. Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans b. Decision-making process c. Process of multi-criteria decision-making

Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on characteristic features of mobility and its relation to the sustainable development. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic procedures and principles used in the planning, management and monitoring of sustainable mobility and teach them to apply these procedures and principles on specific examples.
The student is able to orientate in individual types of transport in terms of sustainable development and sustainable transport.

Prerequisites
|
Prerequisites are basic knowledge of transport and transportation systems.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Home assignment evaluation, Self project defence, Presentation
The assessment confirms that the full-time student has participated in the required level of compulsory education and that he/she has fulfilled the requirements for the award of the assessment and completion of the course. The conditions are set by the teacher and their form is determined in accordance with the UPa Study and Examination Regulations.
