Course content
The importance and role of regulation Strategy for development of the sector of postal services and electronic communications The legal framework of the postal sector The legal framework of the electronic communications sector Universal Service in the postal services and electronic communications Regulatory authorities in the postal services and electronic communications Network access of the national postal and communication operator International cooperation of postal operators The principles of pricing in the postal services International cooperation of operators in the electronic communications sector The principle of pricing in electronic communications.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
  • Home preparation for classes - 30 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
To make students acquainted with the principles of regulation of transport and communications sector, i.e. postal services and e-communications sector.

Oral examination, Written examination

The student has to prove an understanding with solving problems and an ability to solve established case studies during the term and the final exam. The tutor will notify the concrete requirements to the students within the first week of the term.
