Course content
System approach to diagnostics and diagnostic systems. Relation of "reliability management - diagnostic system". Relation of diagnostics and operational reliability. Theory and application of objective selection of diagnostic information (magnitude) Operational and service (customers') diagnostic information. Collection, processing, analysis and use of diagnostic information. Managerial enterprise info-system, DIS - Manager. Diagnostic info-system for quality and reliability management, DIS - Manager. Diagnostic analysis, principle and purpose. Product approach of operational quality rating (horizontal way), product oriented quality and reliability management. Method of evaluation indicators and other methods. Phases of diagnostic methodology applications in design, construction, projection, operation, and maintenance of transport vehicles and machinery. Organizational assurance of realization of diagnostic analysis.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the methodology of diagnostic analysis (DA) of enterprise activities.
The graduate of this course will obtain knowledge of the methodology of using options of diagnostic analysis for complex and rigorous analysis of enterprise activities.
Prerequisites
Having completed the following courses: Operational Reliability and Diagnostic Systems I and II; Quality Management in Transport I and II and Diagnostic Information Systems. (Provozní spolehlivost a diagnostické systémy I. a II., Řízení a kontrola jakosti v dopravě I. a II. a předmětu Diagnostické informační systémy).

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Awarding course credit confirms that the student of the full-time mode of study fulfilled the required attendance and all the other necessary course requirements. The conditions for obtaining the credits are specified by the lecturer. Active participation in seminars (taking part in all practical seminars and submitting satisfactory reports from them) is demanded. The course examination (form, content, duration) conforms with the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of Pardubice. The student can only proceed to the examination after being awarded the course credits. The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The students must pass the written exam before proceeding to the oral part.
