Course content
Characteristics and basic structure of diagnostic information systéme (DIS). DIS - RCM, focus on rail vehicles. DIS - EXPERT. DIS - EXPERT/ LET - focus on air transport. DIS - PROJECTOR. DIS - ENVIRONMENT, protection in problematic factories. DIS - MAINTENANCE / vehicles. DIS - FMEA / FMECA. DIS - QA / RA, quality and reliability assurance. Recapitulation of global evaluation of DIS usage in transport vehicles and machinery.

Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to acquaint students with the basics and principles of diagnostic information systems (DIS) and their use in maintenance management of transport vehicles and machinery.
Graduates of this course will gain not only an overview but also the knowledge for using the diagnostic information systems in relation to the particular technical solutions of DIS of the selected problems in management, control and protection.
Prerequisites
Knowledge at the level of the undergraduate study of a technical specialization.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

The exam of this course (form, content, duration) conforms with the Study And Examination Regulations of UPa. The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The students must pass the written exam before proceeding to the oral part.
