Course content
Separation of tde road vehicles. Types of the special vehicles. Tank trucks. Transport of the hazardous substances and legislative requirements. Specialitis of the tank trucks design. Tank truck stability assessment.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is broadening fundamental knowledge of design and theory, especially the relationship between vehicle parameters and stability of the tank vehicles. Students also acquint themselves with the ways and possibilities of utilization of mathematical simulation for tank vehicles testing and research of their driving properties.
Ability to analyse the issue related to the stability of vehicle, ability to make use of theoretical knowledge in solving particular cases in the sphere of stability of vehicles. To deduce conclusions for the follow-up procedure of the solution. Elementary knowledge of the scientific approach towards solving the tasks.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the theory and design of vehicles at the level of the Master degree study of the given branch. Knowledge and ability to apply mathematic methods and computing procedures in the issue related to the stability of vehicles.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

To prove the knowledge of the given issue. To pay the primary attention to the topics in according with the orientation of the thesis. The exam is oral. Its content and duration are set in according with The Study and Exam Code of University Pardubice.
