Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The objective of the course is to acquaint students with up-to-date methods of dependability assurance for road vehicles, explain a place and role of technical diagnostics for road vehicle dependability in operation and service its methods and means. Explain place and role dependability, technical diagnostics and repair in maintenance system of road vehicles.
Having passed the master study program, the student is able to manage systematically road vehicles operation, to run, organize and check their maintenance and repairs. The student has basic knowledge about diagnostics, technology maintenance and repair road vehicles.
Prerequisites
The student needs to have basic knowledge from field of theory probability and mathematical statistics. The student also needs to have basic knowledge from fields of design of road vehicles, their operation and repair.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Creative work analysis, Didactic test

During the semester and the final exam students must demonstrate an understanding of problems presented during lectures and must demonstrate the ability to solve problems of maintenance transport means independently on the basis of knowledge of reliability and diagnostics of transport vehicles according to the curriculum.
