Course content
Introduction in CAD systems, user's environment. Program settings, basic program control, data exchange. Systems of coordinates, basics for 2D object's drawing. Layers, tools for drawing and editing. Selection and edition of objects, blocks. Hatch, attributes. Text. Dimensioning. Model and layout space, plotting. Information about objects, external references.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Methods of individual activities, Demonstration
Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is learn more about work principles in software AutoCAD, which is one of instruments for creation of technical documentation.
Student is able to use software AutoCAD for constructive work from common drawing to documentation sharing and plotting.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of technical drawing and working with PC.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Student has to approve ability in AutoCAD control and utilization. Concrete requirements will be notified at the beginning of the session.
