Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to learn of basic priciples of modelling of train running, comleting of train movement equation and analysis of each its parts. Students learn to solve basic task of mechanics of transport - calculations of running time as well as train weight and energy consumption.
After graduating of the subject students are able to calculate running time of defined train at defined track as well as train weight for defined train and energy consumption.
Prerequisites
Precondition of successful graduation is adequate knowledge of mathematics and physics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Successful graduation of written part of the exam and subsequent verbal interview.
