Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The course provides to students essential knowledge of data tranmission through transmission lines and associated linear distortion effects. The students should acquire the main principles in pulse modulation, source coding, channel coding, data modems and data transmission services.
The students acquire theoretical and practise knowledge and skills of data tranmission through metallic transmission lines, data codding and pulse modulation.
Prerequisites
Students should be know basi work with digital processing, electrical engineering and mathematical calculuse (derivative and intergation).

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Students need active interest in lessons, homeworks, etc.
