Course content
|
Introduction. Formal format and information sources. analysis of theme in co-ooperation with lecture. Themme choice by student in co-ooperation with project leader. Suggestion of work methodology. Find out and make up and structure of document for Year Project I. Discussion with project leader. Own work and labor on Year Project I. Submission of Year project I. Time reserve and other information.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of course is process self-student's work - Year Project I. Theme is chosen by student from offer of Electrical Department. Project can be represented by: retrieval or analysis of electrical devices characteristic, device design or device sample. Emphases is put on self-work with technical and specialist document, work on data to good document (method of working out and preparing of Year Project I), work in laboratory, design and construction of device.
After this course student is able to complete Year Project according to requirements, make technical and engineering documentation, and found out necessary information and data. Further student is able to present his work by appropriate form of document.

Prerequisites
|
It is assumed that the student has the basic knowledge from the field of interest and is able to manage logical thinking and written expression. Student can be able to use these skills.

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment
During the winter half student has to familiarize and prove understanding of Year Project I requirements, its content and format style Emphases is put on self-work with technical and specialist document, work on data (method of working out and preparing of Year Project I), work in laboratory, design and construction of device. The teacher imparts specific requests in the first week of course.
