Course content
|
Conception of logistics, - the circumstances of the origination and development of logistics in enterprise, supply chain management Total Supply Chain - objectives, strategy, activities, cost and value part. Customer services - content, measurement, audit, providers of customer services. Logistics information system as a part of management information systém - its subsystems. Systems identification of logistics process - distribution subsystem, channels of distribution. Subsystem production subsidies - systems production management, link on customer service level. Production strategy - MRP II, JIT, KANBAN, OPT, LOC. Purchasing subsystem - types of purchasing situations, operational purchase, vendors rating. Cross logistic activities - systems of inventory management. Material packaging, wraps, pallets, containers. Warehousing, technology, inventory management in warehouses. Traffic systems, manipulating technique, transport choice and optimization. Logistic technologies. Company diagnostic from the logistic point of view, process of logistic conception elaboration and its conversion into practice. Organizational support of logistic management of enterprise.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this subject is to develop to give to student complex conception about logistic management of company with usage of new logistic technologies and with respect of chemical industry specifics.
Student is able after fulfillment this subject to understand and apply logistic approach in management of company with emphasis on mutual close relation between individual processes and complexity of solution.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge in mathematics and business economics and management taught within the bachelor study is needed for study of the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation
Exam from this subject is in written and oral form. Final classification takes into account also results of individual works elaborated by student during semester.
