Course content
Rectifiers. Regulators. Diode detectors and limiters. Circuits for power control and switching with thyristors and triacs. Pulse amplifiers with transistors. Flip-flops realized by transistors. Amplification Stages with Bipolar Transistors. Amplification stages with unipolar transistors. Power Amplifiers. Oscillators. Linear and nonlinear networks with operational amplifiers. Flip-flops with operational amplifiers. Electric filters.

Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the operation of basic electronic circuits such as power supplies, amplifiers, oscillators, filters and more.
After the study of this subject the student will understand the function of basic electronic circuits and will be able to design electronic circuits with desired characteristics.
Prerequisites
completion of the courses Fundamentals of Electronics and Electrotechnics 1.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Exam prerequisites: Attendance to exercise. Submission of laboratory exercises protocols and teacher approval. Examination conditions: The exam consists of a written and an oral part. In particular, the examiner evaluates the degree of understanding of the substance and the ability to apply knowledge.
