Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on the principles of Line-of-Sight (LoS) and Non-LoS wireless data systems in various configurations. Students will practically deal with the use of standards for public and personal data networks in the areas of voice, data and telematics applications. The course begins with an overview of the possibilities of using communication systems, followed by analysis and practical demonstrations of the physical layer of networks, transfer rates, ranges, etc.
After completing the course the student is able to choose and verify the deployment of appropriate communication technology for specific applications.
