Course content
1. Introduction to the concepts of technical documentation, CAD systems, general, application-specific. 2. Standardization in technical drawing, types of technical drawings, formats, scales, descriptions, display methods. 3. General systems (AutoCAD) Drawing basics, coordinate system, layers (levels). 4. Creating documentation, coordinate systems, aids for accurate drawing, edit nodes, design commands. 5. Drawing creation, drawing rules, object properties, dimensioning, Blocks, external references, text processing. 6. Drawing, stamp, labels, marks 7. Creating a drawing from a model 8. Technical drawing in electrical engineering - electrical schematics (overview, circuit, block, assembly, situational) 9. Specific software for electrical EDA, working style, circuit diagrams, library systems 10. Working with hierarchical, block, schematic diagrams 11. PCB documentation (drawings, manufacturing documentation) 12. Electrical projects

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce the principles and tools for creating technical documentation. The student should learn how to create and read drawings used in mechanical and electrical engineering practice.
They will learn to work with technical documentation and gain a basic understanding of technical standards.

Ability to work with PC

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Self project defence

Elaboration of the project according to the assignment and its defense against others.
