Course content
|
1. Power supply circuits (rectifiers, smoothing cells) 2. Stabilizers (stabilizing diode, feedback stabilizer, switching power supplies, charge pumps) 3. Diode circuits for low-current applications (switches, detectors, modulators, limiters) 4. Pulse amplifiers with transistors (MOSFET as a switch, bipolar transistor as a switch, switching of inductive loads) 5. Flip-flop circuits implemented with transistors (BKO, SKO, MKO, AKO) 6. Circuits for power control and switching with thyristors and triacs 7. Passive electrical filters (RC and RL filters, RLC filters) 8. Low-frequency preamplifiers (SE, SC, SB connections) 9. Power amplifiers (classes A, B, AB, C, D) 10. High-frequency amplifiers (resonant amplifiers, cascode) 11. Basic linear networks with operational amplifiers (inverting and non-inverting amplifier, adder, follower, differential amplifier, instrumentation amplifier, integrator, differentiator, active RC filters) 12. Flip-flops with OZ (comparators and pulse circuits) 13. Oscillators (principle of oscillations, RC oscillator with Wien element, LC oscillators, crystal oscillators)

Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on the operation of basic electronic circuits such as power supplies, amplifiers, oscillators, filters and more.
After the study of this subject the student will understand the function of basic electronic circuits and will be able to design electronic circuits with desired characteristics.

completion of the courses Fundamentals of Electronics and Electrotechnics 1.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination
Exam prerequisites: Attendance to exercise. Submission of laboratory exercises protocols and teacher approval. Examination conditions: The exam consists of a written and an oral part. In particular, the examiner evaluates the degree of understanding of the substance and the ability to apply knowledge.
