  • Participation in classes - 52 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for laboratory work and processing of results - 52 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 36 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the principles and experimental verification of the properties of current wireless systems such as radio broadcasting, TV, digital terrestrial systems, WLAN and PAN, GSM and other generations of mobile networks, satellite systems.
After completing the course, the student will know the principles and application of the most commonly used wireless technologies. With knowledge of theory and results from experimental activities, he will be able to design applications using modern communication systems and modulation techniques that are operated in suitable radio bands.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite for successful completion of the course is knowledge of partial devices of the communication chain, knowledge of modulation techniques and signal propagation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination

Participation in seminars, laboratory reports, credit test, oral exam.
