Course content
Authentic simpler Latin philosophical text selected in free connection to the relevant subjects (eg medieval philosophy, Renaissance philosophy, philosophical comeniology, etc.). Texts, possibly equipped with the necessary auxiliary apparatus, will usually be provided electronically.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the three-semester course is to develop and practically apply the knowledge, skills and abilities to understand the Latin philosophical text of a lower degree of difficulty, to translate and interpret it at work.
Understanding the authentic simpler Latin philosophical text, being able to explain its basic message and the meaning of key terms
Prerequisites
Knowledge and skills at the Latin level achieved in the basic two-semester course (BLAT1-2)

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination

Understanding the simpler authentic Latin philosophical text and give its interpretation by means of own analytical skills with the help of supporting tools (dictionary, grammar guide).
