Seminář je sérií prezentací (předem rozeslaných textů) odborníků z UPa i zvaných zahraničních, na témata na poli etiky a politické filosofie. Následuje dostatečný prostor pro seminářovou diskusi. Záběr semináře: témata praktické filosofie u historických autorů (od antické filosofie po 20. století); systematické otázky praktické filosofie zvl. v kontextu analytické či anglofonní tradice (normativní etika, teorie emocí, metaetika, morální psychologie, pojetí spravedlnosti a politické autority, atd.); "aplikovaná" a aktuální témata (bioetika, animal ethics, etické aspekty fenoménů rasismu, diskriminace, násilí, atd.); interdisciplinárně otevřený přístup (zvl. směrem k humanitním a sociálním vědám).
