Course content
Classicism painting, sculpture and architecture. Romantic era painting, sculpture and architecture. Romantic historism, sculpture, painting. First half 19th century painting, Ruben school of historic realism. Haushofer school of romantic landscaping. Biedermeier. Europe is seeking for its architectural expression.

Learning outcomes
Subject objectives consist in covering essential features and landmarks in the history of creative art, i.e. architecture, painting, sculpture, handicraft, graphics, and typographical art starting from classicism up to Art Nouveau and cubism at the beginning of 20th century within European context with special focus on Bohemia countries development.
Students are well versed in history and fields of 19th century creative art culture required for restorer demands.
