Antique mythology as an art inspiration Olymp, the Olymps, essential Greek gods Zeus, its attributes, reign method. Héra, attributes, its role. Pallas Athena, its presentation, attributes. Herakles, presentation. Hades, presentation. Dionysos, its myth, Dionysian ceremonies. Hermes, myth and role ion antique world.

Learning outcomes |
Subject objectives consist in sound orientation within antique and Christian creative art branch. This knowledge is absolutely necessary for restorers as a mistake in iconographic specification of a work may result in misinterpretation of work treated.
Students are well versed in featuring topics resulting from antique mythology and Christian iconography, i.e. they are capable of specifying work topics they treat. |
