Course content
Old Testament. Bible - Old and New Testament. Presentation an names of the God. Abraham, Israel forefather, Sara, origin of votive nation. Isaiac and his sons. Jacobs dreams. Moses, birth, life, god revelation, ten Egyptian strikes. First Jewish king Saul, David and Goliath. Salomon, city fortification, Queen of Sheba. Samson and his story, Elmos, the prophet. Song of songs and its place in the Bible.

Learning outcomes
Subject objectives consist in sound orientation within antique and Christian creative art branch. This knowledge is absolutely necessary for restorers as a mistake in iconographic specification of a work may result in misinterpretation of work treated.
Students are well versed in featuring topics resulting from antique mythology and Christian iconography, i.e. they are capable of specifying work topics they treat.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination

Test oral form, in which the student must demonstrate cope with knowledge of the essential iconographic areas old art.
