Basic roots of history of art branch; its application to restoration and preservation techniques What does interdisciplinary collaboration consist in and why is it indispensable. Why are sciences beneficial for history of art History of art within social science framework History of art as an "auxiliary science" History of art as an integral part of history of mankind How can results of other humanities be applied to history of art study Workday of a specialist: field, documentation, library, archive. High day of a specialist: seminar, colloquium, conference, congress Periodical, Proceedings, Dossier, etc.

Subject objective consists in getting students acquainted with basic terms and professional methods of creative art branch applied to cultural heritage care, preservation and restoration. Practical training focused on specialised context accomplishment.
Graded assignment: assessment of practical accomplishing specialised context determined before; specialised terminology test.
