Auxiliary historical science and their place in historical research context Written sources - analysis, criticism and interpretation Sources series for Czech and general history Palaeography (subject, terminology, alphabet history considering Bohemian countries). Epigraphy (subject, terminology, classification) Chronology (subject, calendar history, data conversion) Metrology (subject, history of measurement systems and values)

Learning outcomes
Subject objective consists in getting knowledge and skills, mastering practical information processing within the specialised branch which the professional restorer permanently deal with. Students are capable of practical applying fundamental survey of history, terminology, methodology and basic knowledge on individual auxiliary historical sciences - palaeography, diplomatics, codicology, epigraphics, heraldry, sphragistics, genealogy, numismatics, historic metrology, and chronology.
