Introduction to problems Railway transport systems (passenger service) Railway transport systems (freight service) Railway transport systems (router - IS of operative control) Railway transport systems (basic control, TSI TAF) Railway transport systems (interlocking plant, ERTMS/ETCS, ERTMS/GSM-R) Urban transportation systems (IS of operative control, creating timetable)

Learning outcomes
Acquaintance with actual computing as tool for data collection, data processing, storage and provide information (information systems) and for effective influence of transport processes (control systems) in all kind of transport (but mainly in railway). Principle is make knowledge base of most interesting applications now operating in practice or under construction. At the same time obtain review of most widely known companies and institutions, which is participate on development modern information technologies in transport.
Take bearings in environmnet of information and control systems in transport and have total view about their possibilities and structure. Obtain view of institutions and companies in transport software market, which could be potencial position after approval.
Prerequisites
Basic view of technology and control several kind of transport.

Oral examination

Attend a lessons in required range and prove knowledge of problems.
