Course content
Working in PowerPoint presentations. Basic database terms. Fundamentals of Microsoft Access. Creating a database. Creating tables. Relations between tables, reference integrity. Working with data, sorting and filtering data, expressions. Creation of queries. Creating forms. Creation of print sets. Data web sites. Macros.

Learning outcomes
The main goal of discipline is to familiarise students with the presentation software MS Power Point and with the database software MS Access, including the necessary theoretical background. Students should prove their knowledge passing the final test and successfully presenting their seminary work (defining and creating a database in MS Access without help of the Access Wizard tool). The MS Power Point will be used for presentation of the seminary work.
The student controls the majority of the database functionality of Microsoft Access upon the completion of the course. They can define and solve their own routine work in Microsoft Access. The student also uses all common functions of the presentation program of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Prerequisites
The basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Word and Excel.
