The principles of creating web pages in HTML. Editors for writing source code. HTML5 document structure. Basic HTML5 tags for formatting fonts. Advanced HTML5 tags - lists, images, image maps, links. Tables. External and internal cascading styles. Basic principles. Cascading styles. Overview of properties, possibilities of use. Templates for creating web pages. Setting up and configuring hosting. Publishing on the Internet. Content management systems. Online systems for website management. Principles of responsive web design. Search engine optimization (SEO). Rules and recommendations for creating an accessible website. Presentation of term papers, course evaluation.

Learning outcomes
|
The main goal of discipline is to improve the knowledge of students in the problems of web-technologies. Students will be acquainted with the HTML5 technology and design static web pages. They will learn how to navigate in source codes, but they will also use content management systems and web templates.
After finishing this course students will be able to design and realize web pages.

Self project defence
Given accreditation confirms that a student attended lessons to the extent required and fulfilled qualified requirements. Conditions for credit are: active work at exercises and evaluated project.
