Course content
Principles of data processing. Integration and repetition of basic user skills. Work with the operating system. Work using a text editor: practice. Work using a spreadsheet: practice. Table and graph creation basics. Creating presentations. Searching the Internet, using electronic libraries and databases, Medline: practice. Using anti-virus software, practical safety applications, e-mail. The use of health systems I.: practice.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to consolidate, revise, and develop computer skills in a wide range of possibilities for computer use in health care and general practice, with a focus on the use of MS Office 2007 in the administration.
Students will be able to use, within the basic range, the Windows operating system, the office software MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and they understand health information systems from the user's point of view.

Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Completion of compulsory 80% attendance at the practicum sessions and seminars. Successful completion of a written test. Completing assigned written work.
