Course content
Health care laws (Act No. 123/2000 Coll., Act No. 18/1997 Coll., Act No. 137/2006 Coll., Etc.). Instruments and equipment in the outpatient department (stethoscope, thermometers, negatoscopes, tonometers, etc.). Instruments and equipment in the outpatient department (ECG, EEG, EMG). Instruments and equipment in the outpatient department (non-radiological ultrasound equipment). Instruments and equipment in the inpatient department (adjustable beds, mattresses, tubes and ramps). Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic health care laws, with the instrumentation technique used in the outpatient and inpatient part, in operating rooms and the central sterilization.
Students will acquire a basic overview of instruments and equipment in the hospital and outpatient practice, with a special emphasis on those instruments that they will be likely to use according to their job description.
