Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is a comprehensive overview of anatomic structure and their identifications in various imaging methods (including radiotherapy, verification images, images from simulators, planning system images, and images from devices of nuclear medicine) in an extent necessary for correct acquisition of image data by radiologic methods. The subject is taught using an active and interactive way with expected application in other subjects dealing with imaging methods.

Prerequisites
Students will acquire knowledge essential to work with both healthy and pathological images of anatomic organs and structures, depicted in such an extent to enable them to determine what is being presented and also to describe individual parts using appropriate terms. Students will be capable to orientate themselves in anatomic images of body, conventional skiascopy and skiagraphs, ultrasound diagnostics, angiography, computing tomography, magnetic resonance including 3D rendering systems, in 3D planning systems for radiotherapy, and in basic images of nuclear medicine.
